At Glow Lab, we use Cynosure Elite Plus (Elite+™), an FDA-cleared dual-wavelength laser system for professional laser hair removal.

Elite Plus combines a 755 nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser in one platform. FDA-cleared indications include stable long-term or permanent hair reduction.

Two Wavelengths in One System

Elite Plus uses an Alexandrite laser at 755 nm and an Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm.

The FDA documentation confirms hair-reduction indications for both wavelengths. The indication for the 755 nm wavelength specifically includes all skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI), including tanned skin.

Adjustable Treatment Parameters

Elite Plus provides multiple spot sizes and adjustable pulse durations.

FDA documentation lists spot sizes of 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 22, and 24 mm, with pulse durations from 0.1 to 300 ms.

The system supports repetition rates up to 5 Hz at 755 nm and up to 10 Hz at 1064 nm.

Air Cooling

FDA documentation identifies chilled air as the cooling system used with Elite Plus.

This chilled-air cooling system is used during treatments at Glow Lab.
