Professional laser hair removal (FDA-cleared hair reduction for Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI, including tanned skin).

At Glow Lab, we use Lutronic Clarity II, an FDA-cleared dual-wavelength laser system for professional laser hair removal.

Clarity II combines a 755 nm Alexandrite wavelength and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength in one platform. FDA-cleared indications include hair reduction for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI), including tanned skin.

Two Wavelengths in One Platform

Clarity II contains separate Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser resonators that generate pulsed laser energy at nominal wavelengths of 755 nm and 1064 nm.

Both wavelengths are FDA-cleared for stable long-term or permanent hair reduction. The 755 nm system is also indicated for temporary hair reduction through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles.

Intelligent Tracking

Clarity II includes an Intelligent Tracking Tip designed to enable selectable overlap between contiguous laser pulses during treatment.

This feature gives the specialist additional control over pulse placement while treating an area.

Real-Time Skin Temperature Monitoring

Clarity II includes a skin temperature monitoring feature that provides the specialist with real-time information during treatment.

Flexible Treatment Parameters

Clarity II supports multiple spot sizes from 2 mm to 24 mm and pulse durations from 0.1 to 300 ms.

The system operates at repetition rates of up to 10 Hz at both 755 nm and 1064 nm. Treatment parameters are selected for each individual procedure and controlled through the system interface.

Cooling Options

The Clarity II system supports two cooling options: chilled-air cooling and an ICD handpiece. FDA documentation also states that the AC handpiece can be used with the CryoMini air cooling system.
