What’s Included in Full Arm Laser Hair Removal for Men?
Full Arm treatment covers the arm area, including the forearm, elbow, and upper arm. Shoulders are treated as a separate area.
Hands and Fingers Are Separate Areas
Hands and fingers are not automatically included in Full Arm Laser Hair Removal for Men. They can be selected separately when treatment is needed beyond the arm area.
The Treatment Can Be Matched to the Client’s Goal
The amount of arm hair to be treated is confirmed before the procedure. If the client does not want the entire arm treated, a Half Arm treatment can be selected instead of Full Arm Laser Hair Removal.
Full Arm vs. Half Arm
When the entire arm does not need treatment, the arm can be treated as a Half Arm area. Depending on the selected section, this can cover the lower arm from the wrist to the elbow or the upper section from the elbow toward the shoulder.
The shoulder itself remains a separate treatment area.
Laser Technology Used at Glow Lab
Glow Lab uses Lutronic CLARITY II and Cynosure Elite+ laser systems for Laser Hair Removal. Both systems provide 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelengths.

Before Your Appointment
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 4 weeks before treatment.
- Wait 3 weeks after completing an antibiotic course.
- Do not take anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or Aleve the day before, the day of, and the day after the procedure.
- Shave the treatment area the day before the procedure.
- Do not use Retin-A or retinol products on the treated area for 2 weeks.
After Your Appointment
- Avoid tanning for 2 weeks.
- Avoid hot baths, steam rooms, saunas, and exercise for 48 hours.
- Avoid alcohol-containing lotions for 48 hours; Glow Lab’s instructions recommend aloe vera gel or panthenol cream instead.
- Do not wax, tweeze, or use sugaring between sessions; shaving is the only recommended hair-removal method.
- Allow about 2 weeks for the shedding process.
Safety and suitability
What to expect on the skin
Temporary redness or mild swelling around the hair follicles is possible after the treatment.
Contraindications
We do not perform this treatment during pregnancy; with an active infection, open skin damage or marked irritation in the area; with suspicious or unassessed lesions in the area; after recent active tanning if your specialist considers the treatment unsafe; or while you are taking or using medication or products that contraindicate laser treatment.
Isotretinoin, photosensitising medication, a tendency to keloid scarring, certain medical conditions and other medical factors are assessed individually through the intake form, waiver and our protocol. If there is any doubt, the treatment is postponed.
